Android: In running time when click an imege button it opens that same page. why?

Android: In running time when click an imege button it opens that same
page. why?

I write below code (with android) that must be able to find ssid of other
device. It has 2 pages: Main Activity and Start. I put an image button in
page2 (Start page) which can search and find ssid when it pushed. But in
running time on actual device when I clicked the image button it can't
find the ssid's and the other problem is: it open the same page (Start)
each time I clicked the image button (for example if I clicked it 3 times
it opens the Start page for 3 time) … What's the reasen? Another important
problem: is there anyone who knows the code for my search function that
can work truly and give back the correct answer... Thanks in advance.
